Mere Coincidences

On my drive into work yesterday I was thinking that I hadn't had a major coincidence in awhile. The mind altering kind. A female voice popped into my head. She said, "I'll see what I can do." Immediately after that for some unknown reason I started thinking about two near death experiences I had as a kid. The first one happened when I was around seven years old--a near drowning accident.

I was standing on the edge of the pool in the deep end watching older boys dive off a diving board. It looked so fun. I dove into the water. Water began to rush into my mouth and through my nose as I tried to breath. I thrashed and struggled to try and get to the top. I didn't know how to swim. Suddenly I wasn't a kid anymore. I knew I was going to die. In one final attempt to save myself I thrust my hand up into the air and someone grabbed it. They lifted me out of the pool and plunked me down on the side of the pool. I coughed and gasped. When I was finally able to lift my head and look around the scene looked just as it did before I dove into the water. Kids running around everywhere having fun. Whomever lifted me out of the water wasn't around.

The pool was Lompico pool in Santa Cruz California. Shown in the picture below.

Looking at the picture I dove into the pool on the right side. The day looked exactly as the picture shows. I almost wonder if the picture were taken on the exact day. Wouldn't that be a magical coincidence.

My next near death experience happened when I was around 12 years old in Fullerton California. I got sick. Real sick. A very high fever developed. I was bed ridden. I couldn't move. I remember laying there thinking I'm going to die at age 12 and I'm helpless to do anything about it. I fell asleep and awoke later completely drenched in sweat. All of the linen too were soaked. What happened? I suddenly realized the sledge hammer in my head was no longer bashing my brains out. I could move my head and there was no pain. My fever was over. I'm alive and well again.

I recently wrote about an out of body experience that I had back in April of 2011. I dated the article to that date so it shows up on this blog as my first entry. I did this because it may have been the start or a kick off. After writing it I decided to re-read my books written on OBE's. The author was Robert Monroe. While reading the book Ultimate Journey Robert writes about a few near deaths he had as a kid. One was a drowning and the other a fever--Scarlet fever (Page-168). Robert is in a discussion with an entity of some kind. The entity says:

"Not much. Most of the time we just watched you. We did keep you from drowning a couple of times. And there was a time when you were very ill. You even turned up here and we had to escort you back."

Robert replies: "That must have been the time I had scarlet fever."

Robert's NDE's match my own. It doesn't stop there. As I'm thinking of this magical coincidence I'm driving in Renton Washington--an area called the Highlands. I'm traveling east on 12th street. I look up and there is a street named Monroe Ave. I couldn't believe it.

The female spirit who said she would see what she could do obviously accomplished my request for a major rolling synchronistic event. Mere coincidence.
