Owyhee Plaza Building Boise Idaho

1109 Main St. Boise Idaho

On October 5th I was in my hotel room in downtown Boise on 13th and Front street researching historical sites in Boise. I came across a building that immediately intrigued me. It was the Owyhee Plaza building. It is 108 years old, built in 1910.

I stood up and went to the window thinking perhaps I could see it. I was only on the second floor and looking into the heart of downtown Boise I couldn't see it. Later that evening my wife and I decided to walk through the neighborhood of North Boise and look at some of the beautiful homes.

It was a beautiful evening stroll. The map below shows how we eventually ended up at the Owyhee building. We stopped off and had a beer at 10 Barrels Brewing. My wife pointed out that a lot of people were eating but weren't drinking a beer. I pointed out that I had the longest hair amongst the males and a third of the females. That record stood for about 10 minutes until a few long hairs came in. I finished the night tied for 5th.

We left the brewery with the intention of going back to our room. However along our zig zag journey to get to Front street I found myself standing across the street from the Owyhee Plaza building.

I immediately got my phone out and took two pictures. The pictures reveal some light anomaly of which I believe to be some kind of spirit.

This was the first picture I took. I looked down to view it and wasn't happy so I took another.

This was the second picture. I was happier with this picture because it showed the rooftop.

The first picture has the spirit near the entrance door. It then travels up the side of the building. I didn't notice this on my quick review. We walk over to it and go in the bar. Inside the bar I took some video while the music played. There wasn't many people inside. Two couples and a man about five seats over off to my left.

Looking back on it now I don't believe it was a coincidence. The spirits new I had an interest in it and I believe led me to it. It probably went like this.
"Mike right here."
"Left here."
"Right."
"Left."
"Straight two blocks."
"Mike, look up."

We walked across the street and into the bar. Eighties music was playing and I typically hate 80's music, but it did fit the mood of the place. Although maybe if they dump the 80's for the 70's they may increase business. An incredible place that seem to produce believable evidence, visually, and audibly that spirits are present there.

The transcript of the captured spirit voices.
"Help is coming."
"Evil has to be defeated."
"Mike is tired."
"Mike."
"Watch him."
"Mike."
"Mike."
"Michael Higgins...Mike." (Last name mis-pronounced. It's Huggins.)
"Finally we are free."
"Wanna talk? Who's there?"
"You want to talk to me? A lot of space in here."
"Go for it Mike."
"Told Sabrina let me talk to Mike."
"Mike could have stayed here."
"Mike don't look at it."
"Mike leave."
"Mike don't lose faith."

I'll be back to visit again.
